A video processing apparatus includes a video decoder, a storage device, and a video output device. The video decoder decodes an encoded video input to generate a video input with a source video format. The storage device is coupled to the video decoder, and used to buffer the video input generated from the video decoder. The video output device is coupled to the storage device, and used to output a video output to a display device according to the video input buffered in the storage device.
