Abstract

The invention provides a non-contact control device of a mobile terminal and control method thereof. The control device comprises a first image grabber, a gesture division module, a feature extraction module, a gesture motion analysis module, and a control module. The first image grabber is used for obtaining a video image in front of the mobile terminal. The gesture division module connected to the first image grabber is used for detecting a gesture area from the video image. The feature extraction module connected to the gesture division module is used for extracting a gesture contour from the gesture area. The gesture motion analysis module connected to the feature extraction module is used for determining a motion direction of the gesture contour. The control module connected to the gesture motion analysis module is used for sending operation instructions to the mobile terminal according to the determination of the gesture motion analysis module.
