Abstract

The invention discloses a light-emitting diode backlight system and a current distribution device. The current distribution device comprises multiple current adjustment units and one reference voltage adjustment unit. The multiple current adjustment units are used for distributing current flowing through multiple groups of light-emitting diodes. The reference voltage adjustment unit is coupled with the multiple groups of the current adjustment units and used for controlling the multiple groups of the current adjustment units according to one reference voltage. One embodiment of the invention provides the current distribution device capable of evenly distributing current flowing through the multiple groups of the light-emitting diodes. Besides, influence of a channel effect of a transistor on current distribution is reduced. According to the current distribution device provided by another embodiment of the invention, when any one group of the light-emitting diode in the multiple groups of the light-emitting diodes is disconnected, the current distribution device can self-adjust to distribute current to other groups of the light-emitting diodes which are not disconnected so that lost of current distribution effect in abnormal situations is avoided.
