The method includes: replacing the nine strokes of horizontal, vertical, dot, rising, left falling, right falling, turning, left hook and right hook with the numbers from 1 to 9; taking the first three strokes and the last two strokes of a Chinese character to form a five-digit number, namely the code of the Chinese character; respectively replacing the five radicals of with 0, 4, 6, 8 and 9, and using the radical number as the first number of the code when theses radicals are located at the beginnings of the Chinese characters. The method is simple and clear, easy to learn and use and suitable for all people who can write. The method can be used as a Chinese character indexing system editing medium and large Chinese reference book and used for fast input Chinese characters on mobile phones and computers by digital coding.
