The method comprises the steps: a barrage displaying request input by a user is received in the multimedia file playing process of the application having the multimedia playing function, wherein the barrage displaying request carries a time interval parameter; a user comment matched with the time interval parameter is obtained from the server according to the barrage displaying request, and the obtained user comment is displayed on a multimedia file playing interface in a barrage mode.
