The system comprises a switch 1, a switch 2, a switch 3, a transport stream analysis module, a data compression module, a data decompression module, a caching module and a file packaging module. Transport streams are sent to the transport stream analysis module and the data compression module respectively through the switch 1 and the switch 2. The data compression module is connected to the caching module. The caching module is in series connection with the switch 3 and the data decompression module, and then is connected to the transport stream analysis module. The transport stream analysis module is connected to the file packaging module. Compared with the prior art, by employing the system and the method, the efficiency of transport stream collection can be substantially improved, data storage expenses of the transport stream collection can be greatly reduced, abnormal collection tasks can be recovered with the aid of the system when the collection tasks are abnormal, and original transport stream data can be provided for assisting in rapidly analyzing system abnormity reasons.
