According to the method, whether an initial start-up process is carried out is determined; if so, a buffer zone and a recording zone are set and a buffer file is established at the buffer zone; whether recording file recovery needs to be carried out is determined; if so, the recording file recovery is carried out; and multi-path audio and video stream storage is carried out at the recording zone. With the method, recording file recovery can be realized when equipment stops accidentally; and the buffer zone and the recording zone use different hard disks for reading and writing, thereby substantially reducing the number of times of track seeking of a magnetic head during the storage process and improving the system performance.
