The polypeptide composition comprises polypeptides capable of promoting collagen production and polypeptides capable of promoting keratoprotein production, wherein concentration of each kind of polypeptides is 0.01ppm-50,000ppm (w/w). Aiming at various kinds of alopecia or hair loss symptoms, the polypeptide composition is capable of promoting new hair growth and reinforcing roots of grown hair to avoid hair loss, so that the purpose that the hair grows longer and thicker is achieved. The polypeptide composition for hair growth can be used for cosmetics and drugs.
