Abstract

The invention discloses a power-on method and a power-on device of a set top box. The power-on method comprises the following steps: responding to a power-on instruction of the set top box, and establishing a plurality of middleware thread functions; establishing a file access mark corresponding to an accessed initialized data file while beginning to access the initialized data file by utilizing the middleware thread functions, and storing the file access mark; and deleting the stored file access mark corresponding to the initialized data file only when determining that the initialized data file is successfully accessed through the middleware thread functions. According to the invention, the file access mark corresponding to the data file, which is not accessed successfully, is stored; therefore, the initialized data file having problems can be easily known subsequently; it is unnecessary to check partitioned data one by one; and thus, the wrong data positioning time consumption is greatly reduced.
