Abstract

The invention relates to a display device (100) having at least one display unit (105) having an image display surface (110) for displaying an image. Further, the display device (100) has at least one interruption unit (120) which is adjustable between a release position and an interrupting position and is designed to interrupt an incident light path (125) transferred to the image display surface (110) at the interrupting position and to release a light path at a release position. The display device (100) is also provided with at least one temperature sensing unit (130) that is configured to detect at least one temperature of the image display surface (110) without contact and/or by using a structure (115) for displaying image structures of a display unit (105).
