Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a transparent interconnection of lots of links (TRILL) network distribution tree calculation method and a TRILL network node. The method comprises the steps that a routing bridge (RB) selects a tree root nickname of a distribution tree according to a unicast routing table, wherein nicknames that are not in the unicast routing table have no qualification to be selected; and the distribution tree is calculated by using the selected tree root nickname of the distribution tree.
