Abstract

The invention discloses an inter-cell switching method of a cellular-VANET heterogeneous network. The method comprises the steps of: (1), initiating a switching assistance request by a cell edge vehicle; (2), selecting a cooperative node; (3), initiating a channel access request by the cooperative node, and allocating a channel by a base station; and (4), carrying out received data merging between base stations, and realizing accessing of the edge vehicle to the channel. According to the inter-cell switching method provided by the invention, the vehicle in a switching process communicates with the base stations of a source cell and a target cell through assistance of other vehicles in a vehicle self-organizing network, the vehicle keeps communicating with the base stations all the time in the switching process, the data loss is avoided, and the relatively high data transmission speed can be kept.
