The terminal position equipment selects at least three wireless hotspots as reference hotspots according to the fact that signal induction density of a terminal on the wireless hotspots is changed with the distances between the terminal and the wireless hotspot, determines relative location of the terminal to the reference hotspots based on a three-point fix rationale and further determines a location of the terminal in a building according to location distribution of the reference hotspots in the building. Under the condition of no GPS (global position system) signal and the like in the building, terminal position is achieved in the building; a user can also enjoy the terminal position and service based on the terminal position; incapability of the user to determine the location in the building is avoided; and the user experience is improved.
