Problems solved by technology

If the control center does not receive the message input from the terminal sensor due to excessive delay, the control center may send wrong control messages to the smart meter terminal
(2) Large amount of transmitted information
Due to the current shortage of spectrum resources, it is not realistic to allocate dedicated spectrum for the power grid system. However, there are many application technologies in the public unlicensed frequency band, and the spectrum interference is relatively large, which cannot meet the needs of the power grid system for reliable and efficient communication.

[0032] figure 1 Shown is a structural diagram of a smart grid communication system based on cognitive radio. The system is composed of a smart meter terminal, a terminal substation control center and a regional substation control center. This invention only considers the problem of wireless access in the last mile of smart grid communication. Cognitive radio technology dynamically utilizes the idle spectrum in the TV band. The smart meter terminal and the terminal substation control center are cognitive devices. Before communication, the cognitive device first detects the TV channel and obtains a list of available channels. Common available channel for communication. The present invention only considers figure 1 The efficient spectrum detection problem for the system shown, using figure 2 The shown method performs spectral detection.

Abstract

The invention discloses an efficient spectrum sensing method applied to smart grid communication and a system. The system consists of smart electric meter terminals and a substation control center. The idle spectra of television frequency bands are dynamically utilized to realize bi-direction communication between the terminals and the control center on the basis of a cognitive radio technology. The method includes the following steps that: the control center predicts the occupancy of different television channels by using a three-order exponential smoothing model according to stored historical detection data and selects a group of channels with lower occupancy according to prediction results so as to create a small to-be-detected channel set by using the channels with lower occupancy; andthe smart electric meter terminals detect the small channel set through using a related detection algorithm on the basis of the known features of digital television signal PN sequence codes. Comparedwith a traditional spectrum sensing method, the efficient spectrum sensing method of the invention has the advantages of high detection precision and short detection time. With the method adopted, the probability of detecting idle channels can be increased, and spectrum sensing efficiency in the smart grid communication can be improved.
