The method comprises steps of: in video playback according to a preset playback mode, when a setting instruction of stopping playback is received, displaying a playback stop setting window on a video playback interface, wherein the playback stop setting window is used for providing multiple playback stop conditions in frequency dimension; acquiring a selected first playback stop condition in frequency dimension through the playback stop setting window, wherein the first playback stop condition is used for indicating stopping playback after a target number of videos are played; and when it is detected that a playback progress meets the first playback stop condition, stopping playing videos.
