Abstract

A microservice load balancing method based on SDN belongs to the software definition network technology field. An SDN network is introduced into a microservice framework, and the global network view of the SDN and the refined control capability of a network flow are used to provide more refined load balancing capabilities for microservice calling. Through a virtual ip rewriting technology and a calling link analysis technology, based on the overall load condition of a calling link, load balancing calculation is performed, and a load balancing strategy is converted into a flow table form of network forwarding so as to realize unperceptive and high-efficiency load balancing to a calling party.

Description

technical field [0001] This patent relates to an SDN-based microservice load balancing method, which belongs to the technical field of software-defined networks. Background technique [0002] Microservice is a new concept of Internet distributed service design. By splitting services into fine-grained and functionally independent microservice modules, it can achieve functional decoupling and the ability of independent evolution of services. However, in microservice deployment, load balancing is generally implemented by the caller. The caller obtains the IP addresses of all servers providing services through the service discovery mechanism, and realizes load balancing through random requests, round robin, etc. However, this kind of load balancing does not consider the forwarding efficiency of the overall network, nor does it comprehensively consider the load balancing of each calling node in a service calling link. Contents of the invention [0003] This patent provides a m...
