Abstract

The present invention provides a method and device for indicating a transmission direction. The method comprises: determining a detection mode used for detecting a transmission direction of each configured bandwidth section; detecting transmission direction indicating information on a corresponding bandwidth section according to the detection mode; and determining the transmission direction of thecorresponding bandwidth section according to the detected transmission direction indicating information. In the present invention, a terminal can accurately know the transmission direction of each bandwidth section, thereby reducing costs in detection of the terminal.
