[0018]Referring to the drawings for a further understanding of the invention, it may be seen in FIG. 1 the traditional lace hairpiece includes a sheer lace base 10 to which human hair or synthetic hair is tied by hand such that the base with the hair attached goes over the scalp or existing hair in a well-known manner. FIG. 1 depicts a lace front or frontal lace hairpiece wherein only the forward part of the head has hair tied to the lace base 10, however, it is to be understood that a full lace wig would include a lace base that extends over substantially the entire scalp.
