Benefits of technology

The present invention is a holder that keeps containers in an inverted position, preventing the substance at the bottom of the container from being wasted or unused. The holder has features that keep it stable, such as a flat bottom and a tapered or stepped diameter bottom interior, as well as a plurality of fingers to hold the container in position. The invention allows for easy access to the remaining substance in the container and ensures that it remains stable. The invention solves the problem of containers having a top heavy situation and rocking from side to side.

Problems solved by technology

It is an all to common problem that when a substance in a container is close to being completely depleted there remains some substance on the bottom and inside walls of the container that is not easily evacuated from the container.
This is problematic because the substance that is at the bottom and on the inside walls of the container may be wasted or go unused.
One example of this problem is a container of dressing, marinade or mustard that is close to being empty.
This solution is only marginally effective because in this position most containers become top heavy and nearly impossible to maintain their inverted position.

Embodiment Construction

[0015]Referring to the Figures, wherein like numerals indicate like or corresponding parts throughout the views, an exemplary container is generally show at 30.

[0016]The present invention is generally indicated at 10. In the preferred embodiment, the present invention has a base with a flat bottom for stability 14, with a tapered or stepped diameter bottom interior 16 to help stabilize various sized containers, with a plurality of fingers / supports 12 to assist in maintaining the container 30 in an inverted position.

[0017]FIGS. 6 and 7 shows a exemplary container 30 inserted in the holder 10 maintaining it in its inverted orientation.

[0018]Obviously, many modifications and variations of the present invention are possible in light of the above teachings. For example, the holder 10 could be adapted have a solid body in the place of a plurality of fingers, or it could utilize the fingers without the tapered base to hold the container in its inverted position. It is, therefore, to be und...

Abstract

A container holder system is described, wherein the container holder system includes a base assembly operable to receive an inverter container. The base assembly includes a flat bottom member for overall stability, a cylindrical member with a tapered interior wall to help stabilize various sized containers, a plurality of finger members connected to the cylindrical member to permit the assembly to grip onto a container that is inserted in an inverted orientation.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONField of the Invention[0001]The invention relates generally to a holder that holds a container in an inverted orientation. More specifically, the invention relates to the holders features that keep the container in an inverted position preventing it from falling over.Related Art[0002]It is an all to common problem that when a substance in a container is close to being completely depleted there remains some substance on the bottom and inside walls of the container that is not easily evacuated from the container. This is problematic because the substance that is at the bottom and on the inside walls of the container may be wasted or go unused.[0003]One example of this problem is a container of dressing, marinade or mustard that is close to being empty. Often the solution to accessing the remaining substance from the container is to try to balance the container upside down and let the substance settle to the bottom which is actually the top of the container a...
