Abstract

The present invention provides an electronic file archiving system and method, the system comprising: a project establishment module, a product version establishment module, an electronic file import module and an electronic file subdivision archiving module; the project establishment module is used to establish a project to be archived; the product version establishment module is used to establish at least one project version under the project to be archived; the electronic file import module is used to import the electronic files corresponding to different versions of products into at least one project version; the electronic file subdivision archiving module is used to archive the electronic files with the same electronic file name and different electronic file version numbers included in the target project version of at least one project version into the established electronic file project based on a preset electronic file naming rule. The present invention can not only improve the work efficiency of electronic file archiving and searching by classifying and archiving electronic files based on product versions, but also reduce the error rate of electronic file searching.
