The invention belongs to the technical field of
titanium alloy metallographic structure observation, and particularly relates to a
corrosion method for clearly displaying a metallographic structure of a cold-rolled alpha+
beta type titanium alloy pipe. The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide the
corrosion method for clearly displaying the metallographic structure of the cold-rolled alpha+
beta type titanium alloy pipe. The method comprises the following steps of: a, adding
hydrofluoric acid and water into a
beaker, adding
ammonium bifluoride, performing stirring until the
ammonium bifluoride is completely dissolved, and conducting standing to obtain a solution A; b, adding concentrated
nitric acid and concentrated
sulfuric acid into the solution A, and sequentially adding
oxalic acid and
methanol to obtain a solution B; and c, soaking a ground and polished metallographic specimen into the solution B, conducting corroding, taking out the specimen, performing washing with clear water, and conducting blow-
drying. By the adoption of the method, the
corrosion effect of the metallographic structure of the cold-rolled
titanium alloy pipe can be improved, the alpha+
beta phase structure of the cold-rolled TC
titanium alloy can be displayed more clearly, structure observation and subsequent phase identification are facilitated, and a positive effect is brought to detection work.
