A high-performance rare-earth
marine engineering steel plate and its production method belong to the field of steel material
processing technology. Its
chemical composition and
mass content are: C: 0.05-0.08%, Si: 0.30-0.40%, Mn: 1.40-1.50%, P≤0.009%, S≤0.0020%, Cr: 0.10-0.20%, Al: 0.020-0.040%, Ce: 0.008-0.012%, with the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. The production method includes stepped heating, rolling, and rapid cooling after rolling; it does not include a
tempering process. This invention, by adding a high Ce content, eliminates the need for adding
precious metal elements such as Ni, V, and Nb. Combined with stepped heating and rapid cooling after rolling, it fully refines the grains, improves comprehensive mechanical properties, and eliminates the need for
tempering and offline
quenching +
tempering. The production process is simple, low-cost, and yields
steel plates with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties.
