Abstract

The waste incinerating plant comprises a boiler (1) suspended in a steel construction (15) supported on a foundation (7), with the walls of the boiler together with a fire grate (8) defining a furnace chamber (2). The support frame (11) for the fire grate is connected to a vertically movable unit through which the support frame is supported on the foundation. At least one measuring device (14) is installed between the fire grate support frame and the boiler, and the vertically movable unit is adjustable via a control unit in accordance with a set value of the measuring device.
