Abstract

The invention provides a mouse device and a method which utilizes the mouse device to roll the display window of an electronic device. The mouse device comprises a processing unit which is selectively operated in a speedup rolling mode, and a roller wheel coupled with the processing unit. The method comprises the steps: the roller wheel responds to the rolling of one direction and outputs a first signal to the processing unit; the processing unit responses to the first signal and outputs a second signal to the electronic device to roll the window; and within a given time period, when the number of the first signals output by the roller wheel is larger than a preset value, the processing unit starts the speedup rolling mode and persistently transmits the second signal to the electronic device by output frequency.
