A server connected with a network at a lottery center is arranged; the user mobile phone is connected with the server through a communication network; the mobile phone is provided with a lottery system loading module, a data submission module, a data receiving module and a betting/enquiry module which are used for finishing the sales and the purchasing of the lotteries. Due to the adoption of a mobile phone communication manner, the method for purchasing the lotteries by using the mobile phone has the advantages that a feasible novel manner is provided for lottery sales departments and lottery fans who purchase the lotteries,; and the method has the simple and quick advantages compared with the prior manner of selling the lotteries in the counters of lottery betting stations, thereby providing a quality breakthrough for the welfare work of lottery sales, achieving the paperless sales of the lotteries, greatly saving the labor cost of the lottery betting stations and the shop cost, and making great contribution to the lottery welfare work.
