Abstract

The invention is an OAM component communication mechanism based on MPLS-TP signing label, which is applied to OAM communication of MEP and MIP in the point to point common-route bidirectional path OAM function of the MPLS-TP network. the OAM function of MPLS-TP network need one OAM communication mechanism of MEP and MIP under non-IP environment, the original outdated method based on TTL is immature and only can implement the function of MEP to transmit OAM package to a designated MIP, has no concrete regulations that how to perform the MIP marking and how to reply after the MIP receives the OAM package. Based on the original communication mechanism, the invention introduces the mode of MPLS-TP signing label to implement the MIP marking function in the OAM function on the common route bidirectional LSP or PW path under the MPLS-TP network of the non- IP environment, and the reply function after the MIP receives the information, thereby satisfying the design requirement of the MPLS-TP.
