Benefits of technology

This patented technology uses different sequences from specific parts of an eighth generation mobile device's signal called HIS (High Interference Indication) signatures or other similar signals to indicate if there may also cause interference between certain neighboring ones on another network node. By doing this, it helps manage these interferences more efficiently without affecting their performance significantly.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes an improved way to allocate resource blocks within wireless communication systems called enhanced Generalized Pcells or eDPCC. These techniques aimed at improving efficiency in delivering services over shared channels like Unlicensed Mobile Access Systems (UMAS)). By assigning unique identifiers from multiple signatures to specific users' devices during registration processes, there was no imprecision when determining what type of resource should be reserved among those devices. Additionally, this technique allows for efficient coordination across contention periods without causing significant delays due to changes made throughout the connection procedure. Overall, this approach helps improve overall performance and reliability in mobile communications networks.

Embodiment Construction

[0021] In order to make the purpose, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0022] In the CPC technology, since the use of E-PUCH resources is controlled by the base station, the base station can know the use of the E-PUCH resources currently in use, and correspondingly, it can also know the E-HICH signature sequence group in use, so that if The base station allocates the signature sequence group in real time, and the base station can select a signature sequence group with less correlation for allocation according to the information of the E-HICH signature sequence group being used, which is beneficial for real-time control of E-HICH interference.

[0023] Based on this, the main idea of the present invention is: the base station allocates the E-HICH signature sequence group for the CPC user equipment, and uses ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for allocating E-HICH signature sequence groups. The method comprises the following steps that: a, a radio network controller(RNC) determines the E-HICH signature sequence groups used by continuous packet connection(CPC)user equipment(UE), and informs the E-HICH signature sequence groups to a base station by a protocol message of the base station application part protocol(NBAP); and b, according to the number of UE of the current transmission data, the base station selects the currently unused E-HICH signature sequence groups, of which the number is the same as that of the UE of the current transmission data, from the E-HICH signature sequence groups which can be used by the CPC user equipment by the preset selection strategy for reducing the E-HICH interference, allocates the selected currently unused E-HICH signature sequence groups to the UE currently of the current transmission data, and informs the allocating result to the UE of the current transmission data by utilizing the E-AGCH. The device is applied to the CPC technique of 3GPP Release 8.
