Abstract

The invention relates to an illuminating device and electronic equipment using the same. The electronic equipment comprises an input module and the illuminating device. The illuminating device comprises a pedestal, an illuminating module and a positioning mechanism, wherein the illuminating module is connected with the pedestal in a mode that the illuminating module can be pivoted between a turn-off position and a turn-on position; and the positioning mechanism can position the illuminating module to be at the turn-on position and the turn-off position respectively. An operating method comprises the following steps of: firstly, applying a pressing force on the illuminating module at the turn-off position; secondly, pivoting the illuminating module from the turn-off position to the turn-onposition, wherein when the illuminating module is at the turn-on position, the illuminating module enters a turn-on state so as to provide illumination to the input module; and thirdly, applying another external force on the illuminating module at the turn-on position so as to pivot the illuminating module from the turn-on position to the turn-off position, wherein when the illuminating module isat the turn-off position, the illuminating module enters a turn-off state.
