The system comprises a dinner table and an electronic interactive system for displaying menu images and capturing actions on the dinner table; the electronic interactive system comprises a collecting device, a data interaction processing device and a display device; the collecting device and the display device are respectively connected with the data interaction processing device; the method comprises the following steps: A) displaying the menu images on the dinner table by the display device; B) collecting the action images of the users by a collecting module and sending to the data interaction processing device; C) calculating the graph images of the action images by the data interaction processing device and locating the region and position where the images change; D) determining the selected menu by the data interaction processing device. The system enables the customers to order and check out on the tabletop by a multimedia means and special human-machine interaction during the meal, and also enables the customers to enjoy entertainment, games and other services; therefore, the system thoroughly changes the meal experience of the traditional dining-hall.
