Abstract

The invention discloses a method for recovering a subscriber identity module (SIM) of a mobile phone in case of data transmission error and the mobile phone. When the data transmission error of the SIM of the mobile phone due to interference with an electric signal of the SIM occurs, the entire mobile phone system is not restarted, but the SIM is powered off and re-electrified for restarting and access to the SIM and connection to the network are performed. Compared with a method for restarting a mobile phone system, the method has the advantages that: time is effectively saved, convenience is brought to users, and new SIM restarting function is added for the mobile phone.
