Problems solved by technology

When the UE moves from the HeNB to the eNB, if X2 handover is performed, the HeNB sends the MME UE S1 AP ID allocated by the HeNB GW to the target eNB, and the eNB sends the MME UE S1 AP ID allocated by the HeNB GW to the MME, and the MME sends this If the MME UE S1 AP ID is used as the one assigned by the MME to find the UE, the wrong UE will be found, resulting in a core network update bearer error or handover failure

Embodiment Construction

[0065] In order to solve the problems existing in the prior art, the present invention proposes a method for X2 handover through HeNB. When the UE is connected to the network through the HeNB, the MME or the HeNB GW sends the MME identity of the UE's MME to the HeNB. When X2 handover is performed, the HeNB can send the MME identity to the target eNB / HeNB that the UE needs to switch to, so that the target eNB / HeNB can successfully send the path switching request message to the MME serving the UE. When the target HeNB passes When the HeNB GW accesses the MME, the target HeNB sends the MME identifier to the target HeNB GW, so that the target HeNB GW can successfully send the path switching request message to the MME serving the UE, and on the premise of ensuring that the X2 handover is successful, reducing The frequent interaction between the handover process and the core network that occurs when the handover is performed through S1 is avoided, thereby reducing the impact of the h...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for performing X2 switch through HeNB (home evolved NodeB), and is used when UE (user equipment) moves between HeNBs and between HeNB and macro eNB. The method comprises the following steps: an MME (mobility management entity) or HeNB gateway (HeNB GW) sends the MME identifier of the MME of UE to a source HeNB (S-HeNB); when the S-HeNB decides to switch UE to the destination HeNB (T-HeNB), the S-HeNB sends a switch request message including the MME identifier to the T-HeNB; the T-HeNB sends a path switch request message to the MME; and the MME sends a path switch request acknowledgement message to the T-HeNB. By using the method provided by the invention, frequent interaction with the core network in the switch process when switch is performed through S1 can be reduced on the premise of ensuring successful X2 switch so as to reduce influence of the switch process on the core network and reduce the switch delay.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the communication field, in particular to a method for performing X2 handover through a home base station (HeNB). Background technique [0002] In a mobile communication system, in order to provide better business services to a specific user equipment (UE) group, it is often necessary to form a closed subscriber group (CSG) with multiple radio resource management entities for a specific UE group. For example, all UEs within a company or a school are a specific UE group, and multiple radio resource management entities form a CSG for the UE group to provide dedicated access services. [0003] It is common in mobile communication systems that multiple radio resource management entities form a CSG for a specific UE group. In order to illustrate this situation more clearly, the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system of the System Architecture Evolution (SAE) is taken as an example for description below. [0004] figure 1 It is ...
