The invention relates to an
operating system scheduling method supporting RISC-V vector register resource
dynamic management, and belongs to the field of computer
system structures, and the method comprises the following steps: building a vector
instruction data acquisition basis; constructing a vector register use state and a
data field of resource configuration; a judgment and
branch processing logic based on task configuration parameters is introduced into a context switching execution path, and a
context switch context switching process is completed based on a vector register use state and a
data field of resource configuration; on the basis of collection of vector
instruction data, in the task running process, the use condition of a vector register is periodically collected, a vector use heat value is calculated and updated, vector register resource hierarchical configuration is completed on the basis of a calculation result, and meanwhile the use state of the vector register and a
data field of resource configuration are updated. The method has the effects that the context switching overhead is reduced on the premise of ensuring the execution
correctness, and the vector hardware
resource utilization efficiency and the overall
system performance are improved.
