The present invention provides a personal security network where an individual's system or systems of security devices may be connected to a central security network. The central security network of the present invention may monitor a system's status and alert the individual when an alert situation occurs. The present invention provides a security network where a user may set up personalized alarms and alert services; identify various methods of contact; order at which to be contacted; individuals and entities to be contacted; type of situations to be alerted of and other relevant security and other information. The present invention may further provide a personalized web interface where authorized individuals may view current and historical security device status. A user may generate personalized reports based on aggregated historical data based on various user-defined factors. The agent support framework provides a set of commonly used features that may be used by various client applications. Should a firmware or file system update be required, one or more update agents may be used to download one or more data files. A method and apparatus capable of monitoring performance of a process and of the condition of equipment units effecting such process is disclosed. A process model predicated upon mass and energy balancing is developed on the basis of a plurality of generally nonlinear models of the equipment units. At least one or more of such equipment models are characterized by one or more adjustable maintenance parameters. Data relating to mass and energy transfer within the process is collected and is reconciled with the mass and energy characteristics of the process predicted by the model. The condition of the equipment units and process performance may then be inferred by monitoring the values of the maintenance parameters over successive data reconciliation operations.

A server-side system that detects and classifies malware and other types of undesirable processes and events operating on network connected devices through the analysis of information collected from said network connected devices. The system receives information over a network connection and collects information that is identified as being anomalous. The collected information is analyzed by system process that can group data based on optimally suited cluster analysis methods. Upon clustering the information, the system can correlate an anomalous event to device status, interaction, and various elements that constitute environmental data in order to identify a pattern of behavior associated with a known or unknown strain of malware. The system further interprets the clustered information to extrapolate propagation characteristics of the strain of malware and determine a potential response action.

A cache in the memory controller stores entries that indicate a current power state for a subset of the dynamic memory devices. Device state lookup logic responds to a memory access request by retrieving first information from an entry, if any, in the cache corresponding to a device address in the memory access request. The device state lookup logic generates a miss signal when the cache has no entry corresponding to the device address. It also retrieves second information indicating whether the cache is currently storing a maximum allowed number of entries for devices in a predefined mid-power state. Additional logic converts the first and second information and miss signal into at least one command selection signal and at least one update control signal. Cache update logic updates information stored in the cache in accordance with the at least one update control signal. Command issue circuitry issues power state commands and access commands to the dynamic memory devices in accordance with the at least one command selection signal and the address in the memory access request.

In an aspect, a medication delivering injector which includes a housing having opposing proximal and distal ends and an accessible internal cavity for inserting and removing a medicament container such as a syringe. The injector is designed to hold and manipulate a medication delivery device such as a large variety of standard and non-standard medical syringes with fixed or attached needles, assembled such that centrally located is a cylinder containing a liquid medicament and attached either permanently or removably to the distal end of the cylinder, is a hypodermic needle or cannula in fluidic communication with the cylinder. The needle can be from one-half inches to one-and-one-half inches in length in the illustrated embodiment and other sizes are possible by changes in scale of the injector. At the proximal end of the cylinder is an opening with an inserted seal or bung with an attached rod thus constituting a plunger. The central medicament containing cylinder could also be a standard medicament cartridge. Hereinafter, both are referred to as a “syringe”. A lid or access cover which, in an open position permits insertion and removal of the syringe into / from the housing in a horizontal fashion thus providing ease of loading. The syringe is inserted with the needle end toward the distal end of the housing and the plunger toward the proximal end of the housing. A movable carriage is disposed in the proximal end of the housing and slides in the axial direction forwards and rearwards such that a syringe, whose proximal end is gripped by the carriage, so moves with the carriage such that the needle exits the housing at the distal end of the housing and pierces the tissue of the patient prior to dispensing of the medicament, and then is retracted after the medicament has been dispensed by retraction of the carriage.
