Abstract

The invention provides a key mechanism and electronic equipment of applying the same. The key mechanism comprises keys, a light transmission piece which is enclosed on the outer side of the keys, a circuit board which is provided with a power switch opposite to the keys and a light source positioned on the outer side of the power switch, and a connecting piece; elastic support is realized between the keys and the circuit board; and the supporting position of the circuit board is positioned between the power switch and the light source. In the key mechanism and the electronic equipment of applying the same provided by the invention, the connecting piece is used for realizing elastic support of the keys; thus, a cantilever structure is not required to be installed; accordingly, the condition that light rays generated by the light source are obstructed by the cantilever structure cannot occur; and thereby, the light transmission effect of the light transmission piece can be enhanced.
