Abstract

The invention discloses an interactive automatically updating method for legend content of an electronic map. The method comprises the following steps of: establishing a legend template library, recording a type of an expression element, a legend symbol, text description and a display priority of each legend, determining a field reflecting the type of the expression element in vector layers, and determining a location and a range of the legend in an electronic map, and then, initializing the legend, determining the appointed field reflecting the expression element type in the vector layers, extracting the types of all expression elements in a display area of the map, extracting corresponding legend symbol, text description and display priority from the legend template library, filling the legend content according to the appointed way, and finally, analyzing the interactive operation of the changes of the display area of the electronic map caused by map roaming, zooming and the like. The method provided by the invention makes full use of the efficient processing performance of a computer to improve the readability and the aesthetic property of the electronic map, thus, the method provided by the invention has great application prospect in browsing and production work of local maps with multiple thematic types.
