A liquid petroleum product is placed in a simulation oil tank to realize a simulation storage experiment, the temperature, the humidity and the concentration of salt fog of an environment are regulated by a weather simulation system, the simulation oil tank is placed in the environment, an actual environment for storing the liquid petroleum product is simulated, accordingly, indexes of stability-in-storage of the liquid petroleum product are accurately acquired in the simulation storage experiment, storage time of the liquid petroleum product in simulation storage is recorded when the indexes of the stability-in-storage exceed a standard index range, the storage time is computed according to a petroleum product storage life prediction model which is built in advance, and actual storage life of the liquid petroleum product is predicted. Compared with the prior art, the liquid petroleum product storage life prediction platform and the method have the advantage that the storage life of the liquid petroleum product can be accurately predicted within a short time.
