Problems solved by technology

For camera modules with lower configuration, such as the camera modules that exist in a large number of low-end mobile phones, because they use fixed-focus lenses, the captured images are often blurred due to inaccurate focus
This type of barcode image is difficult to detect with the usual barcode detection technology, and it is also difficult to confirm the position of the barcode in the image, and the traditional barcode decoding technology will also fail due to blurred images

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for identifying a linear bar code. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a image and examining the bar code in the acquired image; locating the bar code in the image to determine the border of the bar code, estimating the blurring degree of the image; according to the blurring degree, choosing a corresponding standard characteristic vector set from a plurality of standard characteristic vector sets, each of which corresponds to a blurring degree scope and includes a plurality of standard characteristic vectors; based on the border of the bar code, extracting the testing characteristic vectors corresponding to all the bar code data characters of the bar code from the image; and utilizing the testing characteristic vectors corresponding to all the bar code data characters of the bar code and the chosen standard characteristic vector set to decode and obtain the bar code value of the bar code. By setting different standard characteristic vector sets according to different blurring degree scopes, the method for identifying the linear bar code can still decode the bar code correctly under the condition of a blurring image.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The invention relates to the field of linear barcode recognition, in particular to a linear barcode recognition method and system. 【Background technique】 [0002] A linear barcode is also often called a one-dimensional barcode (1D barcode), which is a graphic identifier for expressing a set of information by arranging multiple black bars and spaces of different widths according to certain coding rules. At present, it is widely used in industrial and civil fields. Common linear barcodes include Universal Product Code (UPC code for short), European Article Number (EAN code for short), Japanese Article Number (JAN code for short), Code 25, Code 39, Code 128 and so on. [0003] Commonly used barcode scanning equipment is usually composed of light source (such as laser), optical lens, photosensitive device (such as CCD, CMOS, etc.), decoding logic circuit and I / O interface and other components. To put it simply, the light source projects light onto the...
