Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device of telecom equipment for selecting a single plate. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a BHCA (Busy Hour Call Attempts) value periodically, determining that the current time is in a set non-peak period, and determining a set value range which the BHCA value in this period belongs to when the BHCA value in this period is smaller than the BHCA value in the last period; if determining that the obtained BHCA values in this period and continuous N periods before this period are within the determined set value range, determining whether a single plate module in a set proportion corresponding to the set value range is closed, wherein N is not less than 0, the single plates in the telecom equipment are divided into multiple modules, each single plate module includes at least a single plate; if the single plate module is closed, keeping the state of each single plate module unchanged; otherwise, selecting to close the single plate module with the set proportion corresponding to the set value range. The method and the device of telecom equipment for selecting the single plate can solve electric energy consumption problem of a plenty of telecom equipment in the non-peak period, and accordingly saves energy.
