Abstract

The invention provides a touch panel. The touch panel comprises a circuit board, a first substrate for carrying the circuit board, a second substrate for carrying a plurality of keys and a plurality of key trigger parts. The second substrate comprises a plurality of contacts arranged facing the circuit board, and each of the contacts corresponds to an operable part and a key trigger part. Each key trigger part comprises a trigger layer, an insulating layer and a sensing layer which are arranged orderly; the trigger layer is arranged on and electrically connected with the circuit board. When one operable part is pressed by an object, the second substrate in the corresponding position is compressed downwards so that the corresponding contact moves downwards to contact with the corresponding key trigger part to generate a key trigger signal. When an object comes into contact with the surface of one key, the sensing layer of the corresponding key trigger part senses the approach of the object and generates a corresponding sensing signal. With the touch panel, the user can touch the surfaces of the keys so that the sensing layers generate corresponding trigger signals and press down the keys to trigger the corresponding trigger parts to generate the trigger signals; in addition, inconvenient operation of a specific operation action is also prevented.
