Abstract

The invention discloses a bicycle shifter. The bicycle shifter comprises a base component, a shifting pawl, a release component, a racket component and a positioning pawl. The positioning pawl is rotatably installed between a holding position and a release position relative to the base component. The release component is rotatably installed relative to a first pivotal line of the base component or a second pivotal line deviated relative to the first pivotal line. In the process that the release component rotates between a first position and a second position relative to the base component, the positioning pawl responds to a release operation of the release component to enable the positioning pawl to move to the release position from the holding position, and the shifting pawl responds to the release operation of the release component to enable the shifting pawl to move to the holding position from an idle position. The bicycle shifter can avoid screw loosing or tooth clamping, particularly, the shifting pawl moves while being meshed with the ratchet component, in the release process, the shifting pawl can also be used as a positioning pawl to achieve a holding effect, and material consumption of the shifting pawl and the positioning pawl is reduced.
