Problems solved by technology

[0008] In addition, in the defibrillation treatment using the AED, burns are likely to occur on the body surface where the electrode pads are attached.
In addition, as described above, when the proportion of electric energy flowing to the heart is small, the supply of electric energy is repeated, and the degree of burns becomes severe, which becomes a considerable burden on patients undergoing catheterization.

Abstract

An intracardiac defibrillation catheter system used for defibrillation by applying direct voltage synchronously with R waves of an electrocardiogram only when extrasystole and other unusual situations do not occur is provided. The intracardiac defibrillation catheter system is provided with a defibrillation catheter, a power source device, and an electrocardiograph. The power source device is provided with: a DC power source unit (71); an external switch (74) of an energy applying switch 744; and an arithmetic processing unit (75) which controls the DC power source unit. The arithmetic processing unit controls the DC power source unit in the following manner that: events deducing that the electrocardiogram input by the electrocardiograph is an R wave is sensed gradually, and when the polarity of the sensed event (Vn) after the input of the energy applying switch, the polarity of the former sensed event (Vn-1) and the polarity of the antepenultimate event (Vn-2) accord, direct voltage is applied to a number 1 DC electrode group (31G) and a number 2 DC electrode group (32G) synchronously with the event (Vn).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an intracardiac catheter defibrillation system, and more specifically, to a catheter system including a defibrillation catheter inserted into a cardiac cavity, a power supply device for applying a DC voltage to electrodes of the defibrillation catheter, and an electrocardiometer. Background technique [0002] As a defibrillator for eliminating atrial fibrillation, an external defibrillator (AED) is known. [0003] In the defibrillation treatment using the AED, electric energy is supplied to the patient's body by attaching electrode pads to the patient's body surface and applying a DC voltage. Here, the electric energy flowing from the electrode pads into the patient's body is usually 150 to 200 J, and part of it (usually, about several to 20%) flows to the heart for defibrillation treatment. [0004] However, atrial fibrillation is prone to occur during cardiac catheterization, in which case electrical defibrillation i...
