Abstract

Provided is a method for notification of a facial recognition environment of the present invention, which : acquires an input image inputted in a preview state; compares feature information of a face included in the input image with feature information of reference person images stored in a predetermined database to determine, in real-time, whether the input image satisfies a preset effective photographing condition which is information regarding a condition required to recognize the face included in the input image at a higher accuracy than a preset one; and providing a user with a preset photographing guide feedback corresponding to whether or not the preset effective photographing condition has been satisfied. By using the method, the state of a facial image detected for facial recognition is checked in advance, and if it is determined that an element unsuitable for facial recognition exists, the determined result is notified to the user thereby improving a success rate of the facial recognition by removing an obstruction environment which prevents the user from recognizing the face.
