The method comprises the following steps: establishing a corresponding relation table among country information, an international dialing prefixes and country codes; detecting whether a user executes dialing operation or not; when dialing operation of the user is detected, comparing first country information of a country to which a dialing number belongs, second country information corresponding to a current terminal register network and third country information to which a user identification card of a terminal belongs; if the first country information, the second country information and the third country information are not fully consistent, acquiring an international dialing prefix and a country code corresponding to the dialing number from the corresponding relation table according to the first country information, the second country information and the third country information; and performing dialing according to the international dialing prefix, the country code and the dialing number. When the dialing operation is judged to be an international telephone service, the international dialing prefix and the country code are added automatically in front of the dialing number, so that the operation way is easy and convenient, and the dialing efficiency is high.
