Abstract

The invention provides an armrest device for an auxiliary instrument panel of a vehicle. The armrest device comprises an armrest upper cover. The armrest upper cover can be rotationally connected to a hinge device of the auxiliary instrument plate, so the armrest upper cover can rotate between a horizontal first position and a vertical second position. The hinge device is formed by a hinge bearer connected to the interior of the auxiliary instrument panel, a first hinge component connected to the armrest upper cover and a second hinge component connected to the hinge bearer via a pivot, wherein the first hinge component comprises an arc-shaped first hinge arm; the second hinge component comprises an arc-shaped second hinge arm; and the first and second hinge arms can be overlapped and movably connected together.
