The method comprises the following step that 1) the internal power structure and the external power reception manner of the electrical network whose peak is to be adjusted are obtained; 2) the power load of the electrical network within the peak adjusting period is predicted according to historical load information of the electrical network; and 3) a balanced peak adjusting strategy is made by considering the internal power structure, the external power reception manner as well as the power load state in the peak adjusting period, and internal and external power supplies are combined to adjust the peak. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages including that the peak adjusting effect is good.
