The present invention discloses a polarimetric SAR image filtering method through combination of polarimetric decomposition vector statistical distribution. The method provided by the invention comprises the following the steps: obtaining scattering vectors through polarimetric target decomposition of input polarimetric SAR image data; obtaining the weight of each pixel point and other pixel points in a search window from the input polarimetric SAR data through adoption of the non-local method; obtaining a measuring formula and a threshold of a polarization similarity according to the distribution characterices of the polarimetric decomposition vector of the polarimetric SAR data, performing the similarity measurement of pixel points in the search window of each pixel point to the find similar set of each pixel point, and modifying a weight formula; and performing filtering of each pixel point through adoption of the final weight formula, and obtaining filtered polarimetric SAR image data.
