Abstract

The application provides a method and device for predicting reservoir characteristic parameters. The method includes obtaining three types of seismic response characteristic parameter data of longitudinal wave impedance, transverse wave impedance and density of a position to be predicted in a reservoir, the three types of seismic response characteristic parameter data being obtained through seismic prestack inversion; inputting the three types of seismic response characteristic parameter data of the position to be predicted into a pre-established three-dimensional rock physical template, and predicting the reservoir characteristic parameters of the position to be predicted; and outputting the reservoir characteristic parameter data of the position to be predicted obtained through prediction. By utilization of embodiments of the application, through the established three-dimensional rock physical template, the pore flat degree, saturability and porosity of the reservoir can be accurately predicted, and structural characteristics of the reservoir can be reflected more comprehensively, thereby effectively improving the authenticity and accuracy of a structure analysis result of the reservoir.
