Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for realizing virtual network feature (VNF) deployment. The method comprises steps of pre-establishing a mapping relationship between a VNF service role model and an automated configuration command, installing an automated deployment proxy on the cloud host and performing registration with regard to a cloud host required to deploy a VNF instance, and converting a received VNF deployment command into an automated configuration command and executing the command so as to realize VNF deployment according to the pre-established mapping relationship and with regard to a deployed cloud host. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, through pre-arranged mapping relationships between different types of VNF services, roles, relationship models and instantiation scripts and automated configuration commands, and by using simple operations of an automated configuration tool, automated deployment of large numbers of VNFs can be realized.
