Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of checking the quality of a bond. A method of assessing a bond quality of a bond between a first composite part and a second composite part may include bonding an indicating film to the first composite part. The indicator membrane may comprise NDI-detectable particles arranged in a pattern and bonded to polymer chains located within regions of the particles. During bonding of the indicating film to the first composite part, the polymer chains and particles may be stationary.
