The invention proposes a system capable of monitoring position information of the shared item in real time and judging loss of the shared item, thereby searching. Except for a conventional base station with a fixed position, a shared item search moving pointis introduced by the system, so that a lost shared item can be searched dynamically. A shared bicycle can be served as the shared item search moving point. Therefore, the existing system is utilizedby the shared item search system and method to a greatest extent, and the possibility that the lost shared item is searched is increased. In the shared item search system and method, a power of a wireless transceiver of the shared item can be set to be tunable, so the flexibility for a search range and a search time is increased, and the system is convenient to finish the search.
